Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your first appointment with us.

During your initial appointment, your physiotherapist will discuss your reasons for attending physiotherapy, review any relevant referrals, and discuss your desired outcomes. Your physiotherapist will then conduct a physical assessment of your injury issue if required.

In the vast majority of cases, your physiotherapist will commence hands-on treatment during your first visit to our clinic - meaning you can look forward to recovering immediately!

Yes!

As part of your treatment, your physiotherapist will provide education addressing the following:

• The diagnosis of your injury/issue

• The treatment program they wish to implement

• How to best manage the injury initially

• What you can do at home to assist in recovery and prevention

Where appropriate, our physiotherapists will create a personalised exercise and recovery program through our online platform Physitrack. This program can be accessed online and via an app on your phone.

Yes.

For those who have private health insurance with cover for physiotherapy, we are able to process your claim on the spot via the Hicaps claiming system.
In such circumstances, patients are responsible for the out-of-pocket (after private health insurance rebate) cost of the consultation.

Please Note: Patients do NOT need private health insurance to attend physiotherapy.

We do not require a referral to obtain an appointment with any of our physiotherapists.

A referral can be helpful to our physio’s in complex cases, however it is not mandatory.

In certain circumstances determined by their GP, a CDM referral can provide a partial Medicare subsidy for up to 5 physiotherapy visits.

Our standard consultation times are 30 minutes, predominantly treatment time.

Longer appointments can be booked where available. Should you wish to have a session longer than 30 minutes, we encourage you to speak with your treating physiotherapist.
